Background
Dr. Greengold was born in Buffalo, New York, and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. As a History major at Yale, Dr. Greengold's studies provided him with a comprehensive background in human behavior as well as in the biological and physical sciences.

Dr. Greengold began his research development working with Halsted Holman, M.D., conducting Lupus research at Stanford Medical School. His General Internal Medicine Residency program at UCLA in Los Angeles provided extensive training in managing acute and chronic medical problems. As a Fellow at the Neuro-Psychiatric Institute at UCLA, Dr. Greengold's work in behavioral medicine included being the liason physician to the Urology service at UCLA Medical Center.

Current
Dr. Greengold has practiced Internal Medicine in Laguna Hills since 1982, and affiliates with Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. He also is the founder and Medical Director of the Therapeutic Research Institute of Orange County (TRI-OC), which conducts clinical trial research in a variety of Internal Medicine specialties. Many dedicated Internists in Orange County serve as research investigators with TRI-OC to provide their patients with the chance to enroll in the latest Internal Medicine research studies.

As Research Director of the South Orange County Medical Research Center, Dr. Greengold works with an outstanding research team to deliver the highest quality of care while providing the most current medical research opportunities for Urology clinical trial participation.
