Congratulations to Dr Fuad Elkhoury for performing his 200th Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate (HoLEP) in Orange County. He is the highest volume HoLEP surgeon in Orange County and one of the highest volume HoLEP surgeons on the west coast. He is thrilled to offer this cutting-edge procedure for men in Orange County suffering from urinary symptoms from an enlarged prostate.

HoLEP is a minimally invasive treatment for an enlarged prostate (BPH). The procedure uses a scope in the urethra with a high-powered laser to carefully core out and remove the excess prostate tissue that is causing urinary obstruction. It is the gold standard for treatment of BPH and has the best long-term outcomes of any BPH surgery currently available.

The growth of the HoLEP Program at Orange County Urology Associates (OCUA) has been remarkable, and the collaboration of OCUA with the Hoag Health System and MemorialCare Health System has led to comprehensive care for men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
