Drs. Tebyani and Spitz are 2013 “Physicians of Excellence”

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. – Dr. Neyssan Tebyani and Dr. Aaron Spitz of Orange County Urology Associates have been selected as 2013 “Physicians of Excellence” by the Orange County Medical Association.

This list of Top Docs is published in the January 2013 issue of Orange Coast magazine. In all, the Orange County Medical Association honored 317 physicians in 56 specialties. In the field of urology, only eight physicians were selected for this honor.
Selection criteria included board certification, physician leadership, teaching/mentoring, medical research and humanitarian service.

It is the third consecutive year that Dr. Tebyani has been selected for this award. He won in the areas of robotic surgery and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Tebyani practices in comprehensive adult urology with an emphasis in robotic surgery and minimally invasive surgery. In 2008 Dr. Tebyani performed the first robotic surgery at Mission Hospital.

Dr. Spitz won in the areas of male infertility, andrology and erectile dysfunction. He has a broad-based, general urology practice. In addition to being a skilled microsurgeon for vasectomy reversal procedures, Dr. Spitz is a recognized expert in male hormone replacement, sexual dysfunction, low testosterone, erectile dysfunction and Peyronie’s disease.

The selections were made by the Orange County Medical Association in conjunction with an 18-member, interdisciplinary “Physicians of Excellence” selection committee.
