Dr. Karan Singh named ‘Physician of Excellence’ award winner for fourth consecutive year

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2016) – For the fourth consecutive year, Dr. Karan Singh of Orange County Urology Associates has been selected as a “Physician of Excellence” by the Orange County Medical Association. He will be featured in the January 2017 “Top Doctors” issue of Orange Coast magazine.

Dr. Singh is board-certified in both adult and pediatric urology. He attended the UCLA School of Medicine, Los Angeles, graduating at the top of his class. He performed his internship and residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center.

He is a member of the American Urological Association, California Medical Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, Orange County Urological Society, Orange County Medical Association, and the American Urological Association Western Section.

Dr. Singh was raised in the San Fernando Valley. He has practiced in Orange County for over 17 years. He is committed to excellence in the care of his patients through a combination of persistent attention to detail and implementation of the latest technology and techniques, which are constantly changing in the modern era of medicine. He is currently the Chief of Urology at Mission Hospital, but also works at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center and Hoag Hospital Irvine. He attends several conferences and meetings every year to keep abreast of the latest techniques and treatments.

“I chose the specialty of urology because of the broad range of procedures and conditions we can treat,” Dr. Singh said. “We can help the majority of our patients and cure their diseases. I enjoy helping patients of all ages, from children to geriatric patients. I also enjoy the technology that gives us so many new ways to help make patients feel better.
